At Redeemer, children are an important part of the worshiping and learning community.  Children are encouraged to participate in worship.  There is a special time for The Child In All Of Us during the service.  Children are invited forward and adults are encouraged to accompany children who may be cautious. 

Child care is available in our Nursery for children  3 years old and under from 9:15 to 12:00.  Our children are lovingly cared for by Christel Thompson.

Church school classes happen at two different times.

4 year olds — 3rd grade meet immediately following the time for the child in all of us until 11:30. (Except on 1st Sunday of the month—see Communion and Children.)

4th grade through High School meet from 10:30-11:30.

Children and Communion

Christ’s table is open to all people.  Children are welcome to participate in communion as soon as parents feel they are ready.  We celebrate Communion on the 1st Sunday of the month.  3 year olds through 3rd graders go directly to their class instead of into worship.  Their teachers will bring them back into worship before communion so they can be with their families.

Parents and caregivers often feel frustrated that they don’t know where to start when sharing their faith. Start simple.  The following are Bible stories that you might read as you do some of your everyday things.
